Yes!

We have t-shirts, buttons, and stickers for Beto. (We are out of Beto yard signs, but expect some Tuesday October 17.) You can pick up a Beto button or sticker for free. Beto t-shirts are for a donation of $10. We have one more Susan Hays yard sign! Call 325-212-1213

I've been checking the Search Nominations on Congress.gov (1981-Present) at https://www.senate.gov/legislative/nominations_new.htm and https://www.hsgac.senate.gov/


Who can fire Postmaster Dejoy?

The people responsible for Dejoy's employment are the Board of Governors of the United States Postal Service. The guys presently holding places on the Board of Governors haven't seen fit to fire Dejoy.


Update 04/06/2022

Considerations for USPS Board of Governors nominees Tangherlini and Kahn, have been placed on Senate Executive Calendar. Also, President Biden signed into law the Postal Service Reform Act of 2022. This bill addresses the finances and operations of the USPS. This law will combat the USPS’s ailing financial condition and add accountability to deliver mail on time. Before becoming a law, the Postal Service Reform Bill received bipartisan votes in both the House and Senate.

According to senate.gov, the nominations made on 11/19/2021 were received in the Senate and referred to the Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs.


Update 03/07/2022

According to https://www.hsgac.senate.gov/, "U.S. Senator Gary Peters (D-MI), Chairman of the Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, led the Senate to advance long overdue, bipartisan legislation that would set the United States Postal Service on a more sustainable financial footing and support the goal of providing long-term reliable service across the country."


Update 11/19/2021

Two people on the USPS Board of Governors have reached the end of their terms. President Biden nominated two people to replace them on November 19, 2021. He nominated Daniel Tangherlini and Derek Kan to replace outgoing Governors Ron Bloom and John Barger. The Presidential Nominations are PN1425 for Kan and PN1426 for Tangherlini.

The US Senate confirmed nominees Daniel Tangherlini and Derek Kan.


Update 05/07/2022

The U.S. Postal Service Board of Governors will meet in open session August 9th at 4:00 PM ET at USPS headquarters.

Why Isn't Trump in Jail?

I don't know.
